P.P.S.
Oh yeah, the Cool Cat Teacher blog also links to David Warlick’s video as a valuable insight into perspectives of students (University in this case) on learning. If you have some time it will be worth your while to check out. It’s a thought provoker for sure. It could be the ‘brainstorming map’ impetus for many academic papers … I think.

Isn’t that funny, I was just watching a video today (my blog) that offered student commentary on education. I thought that it might be the same one you were talking about but it isn’t. Sometimes it’s difficult to pull all of the information we gather into a coherent picture. I think that’s one reason that they say that many jobs of the future will be to find ways of organizing all the information that’s available. It would sure be useful to have better ways of doing that. I go nuts almost every day trying to find specific information for Microsoft products. It seems that no matter what term you search for it does not bring up the information you need. I can type in the exact name of the tool I’m questioning and still not find what I want. Oops this is turning into a rant but I think Microsoft needs to put some serious money and planning into their online help service. It is NOT good.
I think part of the plan is to keep us confused and disoriented. And, surfer beware, no matter the word you choose to google or search for… something pornographic will always arrive to your website eventually.
